One of the more popular of the Camellia. The Setsugekka is an evergreen upright formed shrub with single white flowers in late winter – early spring. A very strong growing Camellia. Ideal for hedges or specimen plantings. Good free draining soil is best.  Frost and wind tolerant.​

​​Conditions:
​​Enjoys part sun to shade. Moist soil with good drainage. Apply a mulch of chopped pine needles if desired to keep the soil acidic. Water regularly during the growing season. If pruning for a hedge to so after flowering.
